Charlie Snell, proprietor of the Dinosaurs & More, and the Meteorite, Mineral & Fossil Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico began digging for "rocks" as a kid with an older friend, he calls Mr. Palmer. This became a full-time hobby for Charlie, and after years of digging and learning, it turned into a full-time passion and career. Starting his business selling dinosaur bones at a local flea market, Charlie took a risk in 1996 and opened a gallery in downtown Santa Fe.

Educating the public about bones, fossils and meteorites is Charlie's main goal, but he prides himself most on finding all these pieces on his own. He is not a broker or buyer of other people's finds. Several times a summer, Charlie heads out to find more rare and precious pieces that you can see in his gallery and on this website.

Over the years Charlie has gained his expertise and knowledge because of significant finds like a Clovis point, full camel bones and structures, and most recently a 500-lb meteorite.

As more and more people do business with Charlie, they agree that he is full of information, really fun to work with and has some of the best finds in the business for collectors worldwide.
