Charlie Snell is the proprietor of Dinosaurs & More and the Meteorite, Mineral & Fossil Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Charlie began digging for "rocks" as a child with and older friend he calls Mr. Palmer. This became a full-time hobby for Charlie, and after years of digging and learning, it turned in a full-time passion and career. Starting his business selling meteorites and minerals at a local flea market, Charlie decided in 1996 to open a gallery in downtown Santa Fe.

Educating the public about fossils, minerals and meteorites is Charlie's main goal, but he prides himself most on finding most of these pieces himself. It is not as fulfilling to be a buyer and broker of other people's finds. Many times during the year, Charlie heads out to find more rare and interesting pieces that you can see in his gallery and on his website.

Over the years, Charlie has gained his expertise and knowledge through his significant finds of fossil and meteorite materials. This has taken him on many trips out of the United States and most recently to YunNan Province, China. This area has yielded the largest Jurassic dinosaur site and interested folks may participate in these dinosaur digs.

As more and more people visit Charlie's Gallery, they agree that he is full of information, really fun to work with, and has a huge display of unique and interesting finds. His goal is to establish a Museum of Natural History in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
